All-Russian Interuniversity Scientific-Practical Conference “Prevention and Approaches to Treatment of Oral Mucosal Lesions in Patients Receiving Radiation and Chemotherapy” will be held on 29th September.
The event is organized by Russian Roentgenoradiology Research Center and RUDN Medical Institute RUDN in cooperation with Russian Association of Oncologists and Russian Society of Head and Neck Tumors Specialists.
Themes of the Conference:
· Prevention of oral and maxillofacial complications in patients receiving radiation and chemotherapy;
· Xerostomia. Clinical and treatment-related features;
· The role of dental training for successful combined treatment;
· Modern technologies and medical support of necrobiotic processes;
· Radiation and bisphosphonate-related necrosis of the jaw, diagnostic features and approaches to treatment;
· Conformal radiation therapy as a factor minimizing maxillofacial injures.
