On 23 - 27 October 2017 The Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russia) jointly with the RUDN University (Russia) will be hosting the International Conference on «Analytical and computational methods in probability theory and its applications (ACMPT-2017)».

On 23 - 27 October 2017 The Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russia) jointly with the RUDN University (Russia) will be hosting the International Conference on «Analytical and computational methods in probability theory and its applications (ACMPT-2017)».

It marks the 90th birth anniversary of outstanding Russian mathematician Alexander Dmitrievich Solov’ev, who made a significant contribution into the mathematical methods of reliability and queuing theory. This event starts a series of conferences aimed to discuss contemporary issues of analytical and numerical methods in probability theory and its applications, including reliability and queuing theories, special classes of stochastic processes, special topics of statistics arising in applications etc.The Conference will bring together leading researchers in the analytical and numerical methods of probability theory and its applications. It should stimulate the discussions on the contemporary and future investigations in different areas of theoretical and applied probability. Also some problems related to the asymptotic methods of the analysis and to the history of mathematics will be considered.

 

Topics of the conference

All aspects of analytic and numerical methods in applied probability and its applications, especially in reliability and queuing theories, are welcome. The Conference will have 4 main tracks:

 

Track 1 - Analytical methods in probability theory and its applications

Track 2 - Computational methods in probability theory and its applications

Track 3 – Asymptotic methods of the analysis

Track 4 - History of mathematics

 

The topics of the conference include (but are not limited to) the following themes:

• Analytical methods in all aspects of reliability theory

• Accelerated failure time models

• Renewal and regenerative processes

• Limit theorems for rare events and additive functionals

• Extremal problems, inequalities, orderings for probability distributions

• Operational research, inventory theory

• Planning of experiments

• Statistics of point processes

• Methods of quality control

• Probabilistic and statistical models of information systems

• Contemporary statistical methods in reliability theory

 

II. Computational methods in probability theory and its applications

• Simulation methods in applied probability

• Computational methods for distributions of statistics

• Computational methods in queuing theory

• Computational methods in reliability theory

• Pseudorandom sequences

• Algorithms of numerical data processing

• Modeling of telecommunications networks

• Statistical modeling and big data analysis

• Statistical methods of accelerated trials

III. Asymptotic methods of the analysis

IV. History of mathematics

• History of the theory of probability and mathematical statistics

• History of the complex analysis

• History of the calculus of finite differences

• History of Russian mathematics

• Actual problems of the history of mathematics

The Conference is anticipated to attract high-quality submissions and stimulate the cutting-edge research discussions among academic researchers and scientists all around the world. Prospective authors are encouraged to submit their abstracts or full papers (up to 5 pages) in Russian or English via the on-line registration system at the Conference website http://acmpt.ru/.

The accepted papers will be published in a Proceedings volume (included into the Russian Science Citation Index) prior to the beginning of the Conference. After a peer review, submissions in English will also appear as a stand-alone volume of selected full-text papers in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series by Springer (indexed in Scopus and Web of Science).

 Abstract/paper registration by the authors (including title of planned work, full list of coauthors, and preliminary abstract)

 Deadline for full paper (up to 5 pages) submissions

30 June2017

 Notification of acceptance

30 July 2017

 Deadline for extended paper submissions (12-15 pages) for peer reviewing and including into the stand-alone Springer volume

15September2017

 Deadline for conference registration and payment

The paper submissions are expected in LaTeX. The manuscript template and the corresponding style file will be made available at the Conference website: http://acmpt.ru/.

 

Registration fee:

  For international participants: 220 EUR

  For Russian residents: 2500 RUR

  For Russian students without coauthors: 1500 RUR

The plenary speakers are waved from paying the registration fee.
