June 25-29, 2014, Bishkek and Cholpon-Ata (Kirgizia) with the support of Interstate Foundation of humanitarian cooperation of CIS states and the Ministry of culture, information and tourism of Kirgizia hosted the III Forum of young intellectuals “CIS youth – eco culture and tourism, nature protection and innovations” dedicated to the Year of Tourism in the CIS. 30 graduate and postgraduate students of Peoples’ friendship university of Russia participated in three sections of the Forum: 1. Eco culture and cooperation in the field of nature protection; 2. Initiatives in the field of nature protection; 3. Strengthening the role of youth in preserving diversity of cultural and nature heritage and sustainable development of tourism in CIS.

Student from SAR becomes Mister RUDN Association of African students - 2018

2 March, RUDN chose the King of Africa or Mister RUDN Association of African students – Zim Sankvella (SAR), first-year student of the Agrarian and Technological Institute who won over students from Cameroon, Chad, Namibia, Angola, Ethiopia and SAR. Vice-Mister was Binga Medesh (Angola), third place was taken by Naftalu Kuume (Namibia).
