November 11, 2014, Tamara Beruchashvili, graduate of the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Patrice Lumumba Peoples` Friendship University in 1985,was appointed Georgian Foreign Minister. She made an important contribution to foreign policy of Georgia. Tamara Beruchashvili performs duties of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. Her big teaching experience is worth mentioning. She gives lectures as a visiting professor in European and Georgian universities.

Student from SAR becomes Mister RUDN Association of African students - 2018

2 March, RUDN chose the King of Africa or Mister RUDN Association of African students – Zim Sankvella (SAR), first-year student of the Agrarian and Technological Institute who won over students from Cameroon, Chad, Namibia, Angola, Ethiopia and SAR. Vice-Mister was Binga Medesh (Angola), third place was taken by Naftalu Kuume (Namibia).
