June 28, 2013, an agreement on international cooperation between Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia and University of Salamanca (Spain) was signed. University of Salamanca is the oldest university of Spain which along with Sorbonne, Bologna and Oxford universities enters into four most prestigious universities of Europe. Rector of University of Salamanca Daniel Hernández Ruipérez and RUDN University representative - the well-known scholar, the academician of IHEAS Natalia Mikheeva attended the signing ceremony. According to the Agreement both Universities will develop cooperation in the sphere of students and teachers academic exchange and promote joint scientific research. Besides, within this cooperation a program of double magistracy is supposed to open. The Agreement on international cooperation between RUDN University and University od Salamanca (Spain) was prepared with the support of RUDN University European department .

Student from SAR becomes Mister RUDN Association of African students - 2018

2 March, RUDN chose the King of Africa or Mister RUDN Association of African students – Zim Sankvella (SAR), first-year student of the Agrarian and Technological Institute who won over students from Cameroon, Chad, Namibia, Angola, Ethiopia and SAR. Vice-Mister was Binga Medesh (Angola), third place was taken by Naftalu Kuume (Namibia).
