13 April, students from Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East and Latin America will perform on the stage of UNESCO Headquarters sharing their cultures with the audience. The 90-minutes gala performance «Discover the World in One University» features folklore, pop and academic vocal, dances of the peoples of the world, ethnic musical instruments and songs from famous musicals.
RUDN students treat cultures and traditions with a lot of respect, knowing intercultural communication rules in a multinational team.
«Rhythms of friendship» international team has been performing 45 years on various stages of the world representing cultures and traditions of different countries.
RUDN mission «Uniting people of different cultures by knowledge we create leaders who make the world better» goes along with the main aims of UNESCO. Students live in an atmosphere of tolerance understanding that we are different and equal at the same time, respecting people of other nationalities and beliefs and preserving cultural values of their own countries as well as traditions of RUDN University where intercultural dialogue is not a mere word.

2 March, RUDN chose the King of Africa or Mister RUDN Association of African students – Zim Sankvella (SAR), first-year student of the Agrarian and Technological Institute who won over students from Cameroon, Chad, Namibia, Angola, Ethiopia and SAR. Vice-Mister was Binga Medesh (Angola), third place was taken by Naftalu Kuume (Namibia).
