"European experience in study of megacities: development of joint educational programs" The round table will be held on 11 and 12 November at the RUDN Agrarian Technological Institute

Urbanization – is the global trend, coupled with serious environmental, economic and social problems. Finding solutions is possible with participation of experts from various fields, including science, landscape design, management and urban planning. Educational sphere provides a unique opportunity to integrate a wide range of experts to train new generations of professionals in the field of sustainable urban development.

The purpose of the roundtable- is to create a platform for discussion, coordination and development of joint educational programs in the field of sustainable urban development between Russian and foreign universities. Successful experience of the programs implementation with universities in Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, China and Central Asia will be presented at the event. The participants will discuss joint participation in Russian and international educational projects. The consortium formation for participation applications in the international project Erasmus + Capacity Building in 2017 is also on the agenda.

The participants -  are coordinators of the major international educational projects (IAMINET, CASIA, TIMUR, TEMPUS, etc.), heads and teachers of double degree programs in Italy, the Netherlands, China and leading specialized Russian universities.
