April 22-25, an All-Russian conference (with international participation) “Information telecommunication technologies and mathematical simulation of hi-tech systems” was held in RUDN University. 178 representatives from different countries, for example, Finland, Vietnam, Bulgaria, Tanzania, Mongolia, Bangladesh, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan participated in the conference. The conference continues traditions of the all-Russian mathematics, informatics, physics and chemistry conference annually held in RUDN University almost since its foundation. Information telecommunication technologies as part of the information and telecommunication systems are related to priority orientations of science, technology and engineering development in the Russian Federation.

Student from SAR becomes Mister RUDN Association of African students - 2018

2 March, RUDN chose the King of Africa or Mister RUDN Association of African students – Zim Sankvella (SAR), first-year student of the Agrarian and Technological Institute who won over students from Cameroon, Chad, Namibia, Angola, Ethiopia and SAR. Vice-Mister was Binga Medesh (Angola), third place was taken by Naftalu Kuume (Namibia).
