International Forum of Rectors of the leading universities in Russia and Jordan took place in Amman October 20, International Forum of Rectors of the leading universities in Russia and Jordan took place at the University of Jordan in Amman. The idea of this forum was offered by Ikhlif Tarauna, the rector of the Jordanian university, during the visit to Jordan of the deputy head of Rossotrudnichestvo Larisa Yefremova which took place in June, 2014. Led by Larisa Yefremova, the Russian delegation, which arrived in Jordan, included representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and heads of 11 Russian State universities, Kirabayev Nur Serikovich, vice-rector of RUDN University for scientific work, representing university was among them. At the end of the plenary session the video message of the rector of Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, the academician Vladimir Filippov was shown.

Student from SAR becomes Mister RUDN Association of African students - 2018

2 March, RUDN chose the King of Africa or Mister RUDN Association of African students – Zim Sankvella (SAR), first-year student of the Agrarian and Technological Institute who won over students from Cameroon, Chad, Namibia, Angola, Ethiopia and SAR. Vice-Mister was Binga Medesh (Angola), third place was taken by Naftalu Kuume (Namibia).
