A meeting dedicated to the memory of an outstanding public figure and writer - Chingiz Aitmatov May 13, in the Oval Hall of the Russian State Rudomino Library, a meeting dedicated to the memory of an outstanding public figure and writer Chinghiz Aitmatov was held. A presentation of the four-volumed collection of Chinghiz Aitmatov’s narrative was dated for the event. The cultural event was organized by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation and the Russian State Rudomino Library of Foreign Literature. The admirers of Chinghiz Aitmatov’s works - representatives of business, academic and artistic spheres, intellectuals of Kyrgyzstan, Russia and European countries – came to pay the last respect to the eminent son of Kyrgyzstan. From the side of the RUDN University IFL, the event was attended by N.Bezrukov - Deputy Director of the Institute of Public Relations.

Student from SAR becomes Mister RUDN Association of African students - 2018

2 March, RUDN chose the King of Africa or Mister RUDN Association of African students – Zim Sankvella (SAR), first-year student of the Agrarian and Technological Institute who won over students from Cameroon, Chad, Namibia, Angola, Ethiopia and SAR. Vice-Mister was Binga Medesh (Angola), third place was taken by Naftalu Kuume (Namibia).
