Meeting of a delegation of the Embassy of Algeria with Larisa Efremova, Vice-Rector for international academic mobility November 10, the delegation of the Embassy of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria in the Russian Federation headed by Mr. Ismail Merabet - the Diplomatic Attaché - visited RUDN University. The parties discussed current issues of international cooperation between the two countries in the fields of education and culture. The delegation expressed their gratitude to the University teachers and staff for their invaluable contribution to the formation of professional personnel for the Republic of Algeria. Noting the growing interest of the Algerian applicants in studying in the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, the delegates reported that in the short run they will prepare a special information guidebook on the Russian universities for the Algerians. The parties expressed their intention to further develop and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation.

Student from SAR becomes Mister RUDN Association of African students - 2018

2 March, RUDN chose the King of Africa or Mister RUDN Association of African students – Zim Sankvella (SAR), first-year student of the Agrarian and Technological Institute who won over students from Cameroon, Chad, Namibia, Angola, Ethiopia and SAR. Vice-Mister was Binga Medesh (Angola), third place was taken by Naftalu Kuume (Namibia).
