The Opening ceremony of the National Exhibition of Indian Students’ Compatriots which took place in frame of the Week of Culture of Indian students of RUDN University held at a hall of the main building of the University on May, 18. The Exhibition was officially opened by the Head of Department for Work with Students A.V. Ermakov and Deputy Director of the Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Center of the Embassy of India in Moscow Mr. Sanjay Vedi. Paintings of famous Indian artists, representing the most famous Indian landmarks, goods of Indian traditional crafts and wide tourist information about main Indian cities were presented at the Exhibition. Head of the Department of Asia O.R. Otchirov, President on Indian Compatriots Roshan Kumar Jakha and representatives of the Department for Work with Students and the Department of Asia also took part at the opening ceremony of the Exhibition.

Student from SAR becomes Mister RUDN Association of African students - 2018

2 March, RUDN chose the King of Africa or Mister RUDN Association of African students – Zim Sankvella (SAR), first-year student of the Agrarian and Technological Institute who won over students from Cameroon, Chad, Namibia, Angola, Ethiopia and SAR. Vice-Mister was Binga Medesh (Angola), third place was taken by Naftalu Kuume (Namibia).
