In October, the RUDN delegation took part in the Fourth Asian meeting of National Associations of graduates of Soviet and Russian Universities. The event was held in Ulan Bator in the framework of the Days of Russian-Mongolian friendship and cooperation, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Mongolia. The meeting was attended by participants from Vietnam, Indonesia, China, Mongolia and Nepal.
At the official opening ceremony Larisa Efremova, Vice-Rector for international academic mobility, familiarized the participants with RUDN University modern life, special features of international activity and also called for cooperation on employment of foreign graduates of Russian universities on Asian region objects.
Vice-Rector invited participants to join efforts in preparation for the Fourth World Forum of Foreign Graduates of Russian and Soviet Universities. The significant event for graduates all over the world will be held in Moscow in 2017. RUDN University is leading the preparation of the event.
At the end of her speech, Larisa Efremova wished national associations of foreign graduates to strengthen cooperation in order to identify key interests and solve problems of graduates from Asian countries and to expand their participation in events of scientific, technical and business cooperation with Russia.

2 March, RUDN chose the King of Africa or Mister RUDN Association of African students – Zim Sankvella (SAR), first-year student of the Agrarian and Technological Institute who won over students from Cameroon, Chad, Namibia, Angola, Ethiopia and SAR. Vice-Mister was Binga Medesh (Angola), third place was taken by Naftalu Kuume (Namibia).
