RUDN, employers and graduates. International conference, refresher training, meeting of friends and partners from over 20 countries

October 26-28, 2016 RUDN hosts an international conference «HEI and employers: effective cooperation for attracting, training and employing foreign students»

Entrepreneurs, owners of businesses and university staff from more than 20 countries of the world – Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Vietnam, Algeria, Madagascar, Ethiopia, SAR, Peru, Ecuador, Panama, Costa-Rica, Brazil, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Finland, Switzerland, Spain and Great Britain, will discuss models of cooperation of universities with international employers:

- foreign companies, international organizations with branches in Russia, Russian companies with branches abroad and joint ventures;

-  foreign students associations;

-  foreign HEIs.

Governmental support of higher education in Russia in the frame of the latest federal projects is aimed at forming educational organizations, which can compete in the international and Russian market. Universities should rank high in global rankings and be highly evaluated by employers.

Traditionally there are no links between HEI’s international services and students employment departments. Another challenge is close cooperation with foreign employers who can require certain specialists and also rank the university.

The aim of the conference is to discuss the best practices and potential models of interaction between HEIs and foreign employers to attract foreign students and better prepare them for working in their national markets.

The conference features reports, debates, discussions, round tables and a visit to the RF Federation Council.

October 25 – 28, 2016 RUDN hosts an international conference «BRICS: Cooperation for development. Network universities and international labor market».

The event unites more than 150 participants – representatives of:

- national ministries of education of BRICS, SCO, CIS countries, embassies and other governmental structures;

- HEIs-members of BRICS, SCO, CIS network universities;

- employers interested in specialists.

Effective cooperation of HEIs and businesses is a factor of training specialists demanded in the international labor market. HEIs and businesses should continue elaborating and realizing joint educational programs, mobility programs and joint research in the frame of BRICS, SCO and CIS network universities.

The aim of the conference is forming mechanisms of interaction between network universities and employers to attract the latter to selecting, training and employing students.

October 25 – 30, 2016 RUDN hosts a round table with representatives of international students associations to attract students from leading foreign universities and enroll new international students in RUDN.

The aim of the round table is to perfect the mechanism of cooperation between RUDN and foreign students associations to raise RUDN ranking and attract international students.

Participants: representatives of Asian, Latin American, African and Middle East RUDN Alumni associations.

The event is held in the frame of “5-100” project.
