RUDN University mini-football International tournament "1000 days before the start of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia" September 12, the RUDN University mini-football International tournament "1000 days before the start of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia" finished. The event was organized by RUDN University’s sports club "Druzhba", the RUDN University sports and recreation centre, and the Russian Student Sport Clubs Association. The tournament was attended by360 students representing 36 teams from around the world. More than 100 spectators came to the RUDN University’s stadium to cheer on their teams. All the participants had a unique opportunity to take part in the "Football King" contest, as well as to demonstrate their physical abilities by hitting the "Russian SSCA Studzachet" qualifying standards. The winning places: the first prize Ghana Select Team; the second – the Uzbekistan Select Team; and the third - representatives of Iraq!

Student from SAR becomes Mister RUDN Association of African students - 2018

2 March, RUDN chose the King of Africa or Mister RUDN Association of African students – Zim Sankvella (SAR), first-year student of the Agrarian and Technological Institute who won over students from Cameroon, Chad, Namibia, Angola, Ethiopia and SAR. Vice-Mister was Binga Medesh (Angola), third place was taken by Naftalu Kuume (Namibia).
