On the 29th of November, RUDN University hosted both the annual festival “To Alma Mater, to the city, to the country” and the meeting of International student's construction group "Friendship Meridian”. It combined successfully different ways of the youth communication: the program included the exhibition of the employers and social projects, master classes and round tables. There was also the Festival of traditional dishes “The world cuisine”. Students from different countries – the members of "Friendship Meridian" – presented their own national chef-d'oeuvres. The official part, the concert and the ceremony of the awarding of the distinguished participants of the festival and members of the students’ groups followed. The participants were representatives of state power, students of Moscow Universities, representatives of the youth students’ groups and veterans of RUDN University international construction teams.

Student from SAR becomes Mister RUDN Association of African students - 2018

2 March, RUDN chose the King of Africa or Mister RUDN Association of African students – Zim Sankvella (SAR), first-year student of the Agrarian and Technological Institute who won over students from Cameroon, Chad, Namibia, Angola, Ethiopia and SAR. Vice-Mister was Binga Medesh (Angola), third place was taken by Naftalu Kuume (Namibia).
