Translation in the modern world

December 11, the IFL’s department of theory and practice of foreign languages will host an annual Student Scientific and Practical conference "Translation in the modern world." The conference will be attended by students of the third and fourth years of "Linguistics". The participants will discuss topical issues in theory and practice of translation, as well as exchange views on topics such as the ethics of translation, grammatical translation difficulties, techniques and methods of translation, machine translation perspectives, features and difficulties of translating poetry.
