April 20, the Foreign Minister of Mozambique, Mr. Oldemiru Zhiliu Marquez Bala, visited RUDN University. The visit was initiated by the Mozambican side in the frame of his working visit to Russia. April 20, the Foreign Minister of Mozambique, Mr. Oldemiru Zhiliu Marquez Bala, visited RUDN University. The visit was initiated by the Mozambican side in the frame of his working visit to Russia. Mr. Oldemiru Zhiliu Marquez Bala was received by the Vice-Rector for International Relations O. V Andreeva. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the state of interuniversity cooperation between higher education institutions of Russia and Mozambique. The minister noted the contribution of RUDN University to training highly qualified specialists for the Republic of Mozambique. He also noted that the meeting was held on a remarkable day- Easter Holiday. Vice-rector for international relations O.V. Andreeva informed the minister about the educational programs and requested to assist in the enrollment of Mozambican students to study in the Peoples’ Friendship University. It was mentioned that an overwhelming number of Mozambican students are studying in the Agricultural, Engineering faculties and in the faculty of Science.

Student from SAR becomes Mister RUDN Association of African students - 2018

2 March, RUDN chose the King of Africa or Mister RUDN Association of African students – Zim Sankvella (SAR), first-year student of the Agrarian and Technological Institute who won over students from Cameroon, Chad, Namibia, Angola, Ethiopia and SAR. Vice-Mister was Binga Medesh (Angola), third place was taken by Naftalu Kuume (Namibia).
