Topical issues of socio-cultural adaptation of migrant children in Russia and abroad to be discussed at RUDN
16 March, RUDN hosts a round table «Topical issues of socio-cultural adaptation of migrant children in Russia and abroad: from theory to practice».
Today integration and adaptation of foreign citizens in a state is one of the key tasks of social policy in any country. An important aspect is measures to socialize migrants’ children. Russia is paying special attention to teaching migrant children in Russian schools and improving the legislation related to cultural, social and ethnic peculiarities.
Participants will discuss good practices of organizing infrastructure of socio-cultural adaptation of migrant children, regulating legal status of these children and defining terms in the field of migrants’ socio-cultural adaptation.

32-year-old Emmanuel Nkweto from Zambia is studying in Russia a specialty that he loves with all his soul. The master’s student found a lot in common between our countries in the approach to work. He was happy to talk about his formation, family and practice at RUDN.
Khaula Mutaz is completing a bachelor’s degree at the Engineering Academy of RUDN. She dreams of returning to Sudan and establishing herself as a professional artist. So, she decided to enter the master’s program “Modern landscape architecture and urban design” and get another profession. And, as Khaula says, the way to suc-cess in the creative profession is hard.
