Activities of terrorist group «Boko Haram» as a threat to regional security in West Africa (2009-2017)

The thesis is devoted to the investigation of the activities of the transboundary terrorist group «Boko Haram» and the efforts of the international community to combat it. The thesis examines the links of Boko Haram with other international terrorist organizations, the counter-terrorism activities of Nigeria and neighboring countries, subregional (ECOWAS, Lake Chad Basin Commission), regional organizations (Peace and Security Council of the African Union) and the UN.

Social and political views of J. Capodistria and his diplomatic activity in the service of Russia (1809-1822)

The dissertation analyses political ideas and the diplomatic activity of J. Capodistria in the years of his service in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. The research treats the political program of the diplomat and his project of the "universal union" and also attempts to realize it at the Congress of Troppau and the Congress of Laibach. The work reveals the role and the value of J. Capodistria in Russian foreign policy in 1809-1822.
