8th International Conference on Differential and Functional Differential Equations
The RUDN University, with the cooperation of the Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Lomonosov Moscow State University has organized the 8th International Conference on Differential and Functional Differential Equations, August 13–20, 2017. In the framework of the conference, the International Workshop “Differential Equations and Interdisciplinary Investigations” took place, August 17–19, 2017.
The scientific program was consisted of invited 45-minute lectures, 30-minute lectures, and 20-minute communications.
The conference was devoted to classical topics of the theory of differential equations and different kinds of nonlocal interactions:
- ordinary differential equations,
- dynamical systems,
- partial differential equations,
- semigroups of operators,
- nonlocal spatio-temporal systems,
- functional differential equations,
- applications.
Among the participants of this greatest scientific event were professors from the leading universities from all over the world, such as:

The 8th International Conference on Differential and Functional Differential Equations has a great importance for RUDN University and demonstrates its high level of scientific and innovative development. This Conference was held in the framework of the RUDN University Competitiveness Enhancement Program “5-100”.
Abdukodir Khakimov, Candidate of Technical Sciences, researcher at the Institute of Computer Science and Telecommunications of the RUDN University, spoke at a strategic session on the development of promising technologies for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) at the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.
The Department of Environmental Management of RUDN Institute of Environmental Engineering hosted the student conference "Geoecology: Theory and Practice". More than 260 young scientists presented the results of their research. The geography of participants comprised 22 organisations from Russia, Algeria, Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Egypt, Tajikistan.
The scientific and practical conference “Expanding Boundaries” was held at RUDN Faculty of Philology. 123 postgraduate students from Kazakhstan, China, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ethiopia and Russia spoke at round tables about their dissertations and theoretical and practical problems they face in their research.
