VI International Multidisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference in Foreign Languages «Modern Paradigm of the Scientific Knowledge: Сontemporaneity and Prospects»
On the 4 of April, 2018 Department of Foreign Languages of RUDN University Agrarian Technological Institute organized and held VI International Multidisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference in Foreign Languages «Modern Paradigm of the Scientific Knowledge: Сontemporaneity and Prospects», which was attended by graduate students, young scientists, post-graduate students of various specialties and directions of RUDN University Agrarian-technological and Medical Institutes. The working languages of the conference were English, Spanish, Chinese, German and French.

The conference reflects the current problems of scientific research in various fields of modern science. Participants presented as part of dissertation research reports and demonstrated the interdisciplinary approach to research in the mainstream of the modern paradigm of scientific knowledge. There was a scientific discussion in foreign languages on topics of reports and presentations.

Students from different countries made presentations of their reports in foreign languages: Russia, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Haiti, Ghana, Denmark, Egypt, Yemen, India, Jordan, Iran, Cameroon, China, Côte d'Ivoire, Cuba, Lebanon, Madagascar, Nigeria, Syria, Tunisia, Ukraine, the Philippines, Ecuador and others.

"How Kaiser Wilhelm Got into a Galosh": a Modern View of the Coverage of the Paris Peace Conference

It would be shortsighted to underestimate the outcomes of the First world war. The mistakes made in this war, which were not taken into consideration, largely determined the further course of history of the 20th century. The radical restructuring of the world order did not solve all the accumulated problems. Over the past hundred years, researchers have been rethinking the role of the first world war: one of the key projects, which brought together 28 participants from 11 countries, was completed in the Romanian city of Alba Iulia at the conference “International Treaties of the Paris Peace Conference (1919-1920)”. According to its results, a collective monograph was published in the very heart of the victorious Entente, at Cambridge Scholars Publishing, entitled “The Paris Peace Conference (1919-1920) and Its Aftermath. Settlements, Problems and Perceptions”.
