Professors from the University of Amsterdam read lectures on international law for students
From 28 of November till 3 of December 2018, two professors of the Faculty of Law of the University of Amsterdam visited RUDN University (http://www.uva.nl/en/home - 57th position in the QS World University Rankings and 23rd place in the world ranking of law schools) - Marjolein Zieck (part-time head of the admissions office of Faculty) and Heather Kursbauer.

During the visit, the professors gave lectures for students and graduate students of the law institute on international refugee law, on the topic «Protection of Human Rights and Terrorism», and also hold seminars on the course «Legal English». In addition, the invited professors held talks with representatives of the Department of International Law of the RUDN University on the possibility of implementing student and teacher exchange programs, as well as conducting joint research and conferences.

RUDN University’s new postdock, Abdukodir Khakimov has been hired by the 5G Wireless Network Modeling Center of the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Telecommunications, whose current task is to study fifth-generation network applications. A new postdoc appeared at the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Communications Technology of the RUDN University, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Ekaterina Lisovskaya

Ekaterina graduated from the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics of the Tomsk State University. She also defended where her thesis for the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences with professor Svetlana Moiseeva as her supervisor. During her work on the thesis, Ekaterina repeatedly participated in scientific events held at the RUDN University where she showed herself as a promising young scientist. Soon after she had received the scientific degree, Ekaterina was offered to take part in the competition for the post-doctoral position of the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Telecommunications of the RUDN University.
