Scientific-methodological workshop "Creating an educational electronic dictionary for students of non-language specialties"

The Commission on Foreign Languages of the RUDN University is holding an interdepartmental scientific and methodological seminar with an external speaker at the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. The speaker is: Ph.D., Butenko Yulia Ivanovna (Bauman Moscow State Technical University) with the report "Creating an educational electronic dictionary for students of non-language specialties ".
The purpose of the event: The scientific seminar is dedicated to improving the quality of teaching foreign languages and cultures in accordance with the new challenges posed to humanitarian education; expanding active contacts with scientists and teachers of foreign languages from leading universities, raising the status of foreign languages, developing the academic reputation of the RUDN University and the incoming mobility of leading scientists in the RUDN University.
The tasks of the seminar:
- To discuss aspects related to the methodology of teaching foreign languages in non-language universities.
- To provide insight into the peculiarities of creating an educational electronic dictionary for students of non-linguistic specialties in order to provide high level of education for students of non-linguistic universities.
As part of the program of the scientific and methodological seminar of the Foreign Languages Commission of the FGSN, it is planned to demonstrate innovative didactic and methodological materials and teaching aids presented by the participants. The seminar will be attended by scientists and teachers of foreign languages of the PFUR.
