The meeting with Professor Johan Bäckman

On April 13 the Institute of Foreign Languages of RUDN University holds an online meeting with Professor Johan Bäckman, Doctor of social and political sciences, adjunct professor in sociology of law at the University of Helsinki, adjunct professor in criminology at the University of Turku and the University of Eastern Finland.
Professor Bäckman will give a lecture and a master class in English for the students of the Institute of Foreign Languages, RUDN University.
The lecture “Prospects for Career-Oriented Learning of the Chinese Language in Modern Political Science” will focus on the main trends and prospects for learning Chinese in the current geopolitical situation and consider the advantages of the Chinese language in economics, business, etc.
Within the master class on the topic “Fundamentals of Scientific Research Methodology” the speaker will pay attention to the basics of scientific research methodology. This information will certainly be useful for undergraduate, post-graduate and PhD students in their research activity.
