Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia entered the top 150 best universities in the world according to the Times Higher Education Emerging Economies University Rankings 2022 (THE Emerging Economies 2022), moving up 35 positions and taking the 144th place.

Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia is one of the world’s leading universities in the field of Social Sciences. In Social Sciences RUDN University is in the group 401-500. The university improved its positions by 100 points during one year.

Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia is represented in two subject rankings of THE World University Rankings by Subject 2022: Engineering and Technology in the 501-600 group and Computer Science in the 601-800 group.

Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia has strengthened its position in the QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2022. RUDN University is 126th in the world in “Employment of graduates”.

Preliminary results for 4 out of 11 subject rankings of THE World University Rankings by Subject 2022 have become known. RUDN University is represented in three of them: “Natural Sciences”, “Life Sciences” and “Medicine”.

Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia has risen to position 601-800 in the Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2022 (THE WUR 2022). The list includes only 1,662 universities in the world, 60+ of them are Russian.

Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia has become the best among Russian universities in the international ARWU (Shanghai Ranking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects) ranking in Agriculture. RUDN University entered this ranking for the first time and immediately found itself among 201-300 best. The university also shot up 100 positions in Mathematics.

According to the ranking of the best universities in the world QS World University Rankings 2022, RUDN University has risen by 9 positions and took the 317th place.

The QS ranking agency has presented the QS WUR by Subject 2021 rankings — lists of the best universities in the world in specific subjects. RUDN has shown rapid growth in the areas of “Modern Languages”, “Linguistics”, “Mathematics”, “Economics and Econometrics” and “Chemistry”, and for the first time entered the list of the best in the world in the subjects “Oil and Gas Business”, “Law”, " Business and Management “, and “Computer Science”.
