April 16, 2018, in New York, at the UN headquarters at the meeting of ECOSOC, one of the six main UN bodies, a vote was held to elect the members of the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights for the period 2019-2022. By acclamation, RUDN professor Aslan Abashidze was elected member of the Committee for the third consecutive term.
The international system of employing students and graduates is a new direction not only at RUDN but in the system of Russian higher professional education. In 2017 RUDN started attracting new partners.
April 2 - 6, 2018, a delegation from the Lebanese State University visited RUDN to negotiate expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of education.
On the eve of the World Health Day. RUDN became a site for «Choose a healthy life!» festival, where guests could have lungs X-ray, consult a dietologist and many other doctors undergoing a thorough medical check-up at more than 30 diagnostic stations.
April 4-7, 2018, Head of RUDN Department of Theory and History of International Relations, Assoc.prof. D.Degterev, PhD, took part in the 59th Convention of the International Studies Association in San Francisco, USA.
RUDN campus card is a joined product with Sberbank and is supposed to be a debit card for receiving scholarships, transport card and a pass to all campus buildings.
