The guys learnt Russian hard twice a week for 1,5 hours a lesson. They began with learning letters, sounds and spelling. Then they started to ask questions on Russian grammar and Russia, watched with great pleasure various videos on Moscow, Moscow underground, Saint Petersburg and Russian winter.
It was a pain for them to spell the letter "ы". Not everyone could seize the difference between the words "стул" ("stul", chair) and "стол" ("stol", table).
