8 June, 2017, QS Quacquarelli Symonds published the 14th issue of the QS World University Rankings.
RUDN became the only Russian university that has risen 100 points to enter 501-550 group after being in 601-650.
Three indicators have improved most of all – “Reputation among employers” (here the indicators have grown more than twice and RUDN is leading among Russian universities), “Student-to-staff ratio” and “Academic reputation”. Traditionally RUDN is #1 among Russian universities in the share of international students.
Compared to last year the share of international academics has grown significantly. Scientometric indicators have also improved – RUDN academics publish more articles in top-rated Scopus journals and the articles are more often cited.
All in all, QS WUR 2018 ranked 24 Russian universities, RUDN being # 14, which is 3 lines higher than last year.
