April 22, on the invitation of the department of theory and practice of foreign languages, the professor from the University of San Vincenzo, Umberto Tosi , visited IFL of RUDN University . Professor Umberto Tosi gave a lecture "The Parallels: Fairy Tale and Life" for the students of the Institute of Foreign Languages of RUDN University- members of the Association of young researchers of Italian. In his speech, Professor Tosi emphasized precisely this feature of folk stories. Professor Tosi also participated in student research and practical conference “Fables and Their Morals" The final-year students of the IFL undergraduate and graduate courses in Linguistics presented the research of the texts of fables and poems and made comparative analysis of Italian and Russian versions of international stories. Professor Tosi mentioned excellent training of students of IFL in Italian language, and their manners.

Student from SAR becomes Mister RUDN Association of African students - 2018

2 March, RUDN chose the King of Africa or Mister RUDN Association of African students – Zim Sankvella (SAR), first-year student of the Agrarian and Technological Institute who won over students from Cameroon, Chad, Namibia, Angola, Ethiopia and SAR. Vice-Mister was Binga Medesh (Angola), third place was taken by Naftalu Kuume (Namibia).
