One of the key events was signing a memorandum with the companies of Quito Inor Flowers - the manufacturer and supplier of famous Ecuadorian roses to Russia. General Director of the company is Ines Ortiz, a graduate of the Faculty of History and Philology of RUDN University in 1990. Ines Ortiz said that at the moment, on the plantations of Ecuador there are not enough specialists in plant phytopathology and ethology. These directions are one of the most demanded and highly paid among agronomists. Future cooperation with RUDN University involves the organization of practices for students of the Agrarian-Technological Institute and the possible conduct of joint research.
RUDN University also signed a memorandum of cooperation with the largest business association of the two countries - the Russian-Ecuador Chamber of Commerce and Industry. President Patricio Chávez Zavala expressed great interest in the International Club of Employers, recently opened at RUDN University. The Russian-Ecuadorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will assist in finding places for practice and future employment for students and graduates, as well as interact with the employers' club on the development of Russian-Ecuadorian economic relations through training qualified professionals who can work in the international arena.
