One of the several thematic working groups - a group on youth policy, was co-chaired by RUDN Rector professor Vladimir Filippov.
In the welcome speech, the chairmen of the Forum and the heads of the working groups paid special attention to finding "supporting themes and projects" for the sustainable development of partnership relations, as well as mechanisms for transforming dialogue into a trialogue, taking into account the political situation on the Korean peninsula. According to Nikolay Kropachev, Rector of St. Petersburg State University, one of the important tools is the exchange of knowledge between young representatives of our countries. Vladimir Filippov supported the thesis and stressed that it is necessary to actively develop educational tourism and conduct "all-season educational schools" on the basis of the leading educational institutions of the two countries.
The Forum's platforms raised the most pressing issues. Thus, the experts of the group "Education and Science" discussed such topics as on-line training, joint educational programs and scientific research, and ways of development of educational tourism.
