RUDN campus card is a joined product with Sberbank and is supposed to be a debit card for receiving scholarships, transport card and a pass to all campus buildings.

20 March, an Agreement on creating XXXIX World Winter University Games student headquarters at RUDN University was signed.

2 March, RUDN chose the King of Africa or Mister RUDN Association of African students – Zim Sankvella (SAR), first-year student of the Agrarian and Technological Institute who won over students from Cameroon, Chad, Namibia, Angola, Ethiopia and SAR. Vice-Mister was Binga Medesh (Angola), third place was taken by Naftalu Kuume (Namibia).

2 March, Hery Rajaonarimampianina, President of Madagascar was awarded the title of RUDN Doctor Honoris Causa in recognition of his contribution to cooperation in education and science between RUDN University and the Republic of Madagascar.

More than 1,000 friends and partners of the University, students, teachers and staff members, as well as alumni of different years from dozens of countries came to celebrate the anniversary.
