October 12, 2018, a delegation of representatives of 36 leading universities of China and representatives of the Ministry of Education of China headed by Ms. Shen Xuesong, Deputy Secretary General of the China Education Association for International Exchange, visited Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia.

In addition, delegates learnt about current activities and opportunities for inter-university cooperation.

The head of the Chinese delegation, Ms. Shen Xuesong, deputy secretary general of the China Education Association for International Exchange, stressed that RUDN University was not accidentally chosen for the official visit to Russia because RUDN is important for developing and strengthening cooperation with leading universities and centers of higher education in China.

The agreement on academic exchange of students became the basis for the development of inter-university cooperation, including through joint educational programs.

Since 2008, there have been 4 joint Master’s educational programs in such areas as “History”, “Political Science”, “Philosophy” and “Sociology”. In 2017, another joint dual-degree master program “Foreign Regional Studies” was opened.
