Medical tourism is one of the most dynamic segments of the medical business, in which the interests of medicine, economy and tourism intersect.

Students of the Institute of Hotel Business and Tourism of RUDN University visited the Moscow five-star hotel of the international chain The Ritz-Carlton. Gloria Oblitas Mendes, RUDN University graduate, held the meeting.

On October 25, the first International Festival "I want to work in Africa!" was held at RUDN University. The initiator and organizer of the festival was the International Club of Employers, created in 2018 by RUDN University and a number of partner organizations - the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ankor Personnel Holding, Domodedovo Holding, Syngenta Company, Russia-Brazil Chamber of Commerce. Representatives of more than 70 business missions and more than 800 students and graduates from Russia and African countries took part in the Festival.

On October 11, a seminar “Sociologist as a Profession” was held on the basis of the Department of Sociology of the Federal State Employment Service of RUDN University with representatives of the KANTAR TNS employer company Tatyana Loichuk and Andrey Raldugin.

QS agency presented the rankings of best world universities QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2020. RUDN is first time among the best universities of the world in the category “Employability”.

On September 16, a master class for Japanese students at the RUDN University was held with the participation of representatives of the Japanese language schools MANABO, the International Academy of Aoyama, the Tokyo Academy of Japanese Language Ikuei, the Japanese Language School ISI, the Japanese Language Academy Hamamatsu, the Japanese Language Academy Numazu , Matsudo Japanese Schools, JTIS Japanese Language Schools, Sandagai Japanese Language Institute.

First-year students of the Institute of Hotel Business and Tourism, as part of the adaptation course, took part in field trips in the leading hotel and tourist enterprises in Moscow.
