The conference is dedicated to discussing the features and prospects of creating and using educational electronic resources, forming electronic and distance learning platforms, training teachers in the conditions of introducing new IT, developing content, methods and means of teaching computer science in general, vocational and advanced education systems.
RUDN pedologists studied the combined effect of nitrogen-containing fertilizers and plastic mulching. The efficiency of the procedure turned out to depend on the part of the bed (the furrow or the ridge) that was fertilized. The results of the study were published in the Soil & Tillage Research journal.
On September 11-14, RUDN hosted a round table "Mathematical Modeling and Simulations - Key Tools to Master Challenges in Medicine?”, which brought together experts from Russia, Germany and France who focused on personalized medicine, calculation of algorithms for the flow and spread of infectious diseases, and processing of Big Data for diagnosis and therapy.

Founded in 1782, the National Academy of Sciences (also known as the Academy of the Forty (XL)) is one of the oldest and most prestigious scientific organizations in Europe. The mission of the Academy is to promote the development of scientific knowledge in the field of mathematics, physics and natural sciences. Since the end of the 18th century, the Academy has awarded a medal for the most outstanding scientists’ contribution to science in selected disciplines. At different times among the academy's awardees were such world-famous scientists as Amedeo Avogadro, Niels Bohr and Albert Einstein
