The present study was focused on understanding the binding interaction mechanism of a newly synthesized 1-imino-1,2-dihydropyrazino[1,2-a]indol-3(4H)-one(PI) compound in bovine serum albumin(BSA)using fluorescence spectroscopy and molecular modeling techniques.

The electrosynthesis of cyano acetate derivatives by acetonitrile reduction is a green and safe strategy to replace the traditional cyanation. Herein, we have obtained the cyano acetate derivatives in good yields by a simple electrolysis of aldehyde and acetyl chloride in acetonitrile in an undivided cell with carbon cathode and magnesium anode.
