Vice-Rector for International Affairs Larisa Efremova and Director of the Department of International Scientific and Educational Cooperation Alexey Poyda visited Lebanon to hold talks on expanding cooperation with Lebanese universities. Universities-partners noted an increase in the students’ interest in studying the Russian language and studying in Russia. The visit was supported by the Association of RUDN Alumni in Lebanon and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Beirut.
Interdisciplinarity and digitalization are the main topics of the scientific conference “Culture and Education: Social Transformation and Multicultural Communication” held on July 24-26, at the RUDN Institute of Foreign Languages under the auspices of the Research Committee 04 (Sociology of Education) of the International Sociological Association (ISA), and for the first time the Russian side hosted the participants at the Middle-Term conference.
August 1, a delegation of the Association of Private Universities of Indonesia visited RUDN University. The guests visited RUDN laboratories and research centers, got acquainted with the educational programs of the main faculties of the university, and discussed issues of academic and research cooperation. The meeting ended with signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of science and education between the RUDN University and 23 Indonesian universities.

June 10, at the meeting of the National Coordination Committee of the BRICS Network University (BRICS NU) at RUDN, RUDN was given the status of the Presiding University of BRICS NU. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, as well as Russian universities-members of BRICS NU.

May 18-30, the professors of the Department of Propedeutics of Dental Diseases of RUDN Medical Institute visited the University of Namibia (UNAM, Windhoek, Namibia) to deliver a course of lectures for students, develop teaching materials and examine interns as members of the commission for admission to medical practice.
May 30, "Living Values of Modern Universities" International Workshop brought together rectors, vice-rectors and employees of 18 universities of the Russian Federation and the CIS, government and public figures to discuss the problem of formation and development of the life values of higher educational institutions, their role in the life of the university, the consolidation of staff and students, and the impact of the life values of the university on the state and society. The event was organized by RUDN University together with the Magna Charta Observatory (Bologna, Italy).
