April 10, in the framework of Moscow International Education Fair, the presentation of the UNESCO World Education Monitoring Report 2019 was held. The theme of the report this year is “Education in the conditions of migration and mobility: building bridges instead of building walls”. The event was organized jointly by the RF Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the RF Ministry of Education and the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education.

March 18 – 22, What is the difference between the Russian and Dutch business culture, is it possible to successfully develop joint business projects, what is interesting about the Dutch methods of teaching business administration and marketing - this and many other things became known to the participants of the international training “Business Carousel”. 40 students of the RUDN University and the Ede Christian University Business School (Christelijke Hogeschool Ede, the Netherlands) understood the nuances of the business processes of their countries in order to present joint ideas.
10 days to study and solve real problems of the fuel and energy and mineral resources complexes, brainstorming and teamwork hours, 6 minutes to present and defend the project: more than 100 RUDN students participated in the selection round of the VII International Engineering Championship “CASE-IN”. 3 teams that developed the best projects according to the jury will represent RUDN in the finals of the CASE-IN championship, held in Moscow in late May.
The results of the contest of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation Scholarship Program among graduate students of leading Russian universities are summed up. 5 students of RUDN were among the winners.
A 5th-year student of the RUDN Medical Institute Rachel Gainos from Namibia became the winner of the VIII All-Russian Student Dental Olympiad "From Education to Practice" at the stages of surgical and pediatric dentistry. The Olympiad included all sections of dentistry - therapeutic, orthopedic, surgical, children's age and maxillofacial. In total, 47 students from Russia and neighboring countries took part in the competition.
More than 20,000 participants from 158 countries have registered for the Open Doors Academic Competition (Olympiad) of the Association of Global Universities (Open Doors), in which RUDN is a participant together with other leading universities. Winning in Open Doors grants an opportunity to enroll in a tuition-free Master's programme at one of the best universities in Russia.
November 29, 2018 the head of the Law School of the University of Manchester, prof. Christopher Thornhill and Dr. Maria Smirnova, researcher at the University of Manchester visited RUDN University.
