November 20, "ambassadors" of their countries or the leaders of the student associations of the university got together to sign the Declaration of RUDN University Student Community confirming their intentions to live in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding in one of the most multinational universities in the world.
November 25, the RUDN University announced the creation of resource centers for Russian education in 5 countries: Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, and Turkey. Resource centers will be created on the basis of Russian-language schools. Leading Russian universities will develop training centers in physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, and the Russian language for these centers. By 2024, 50 such resource centers will be created.
Students of the Institute of Hotel Business and Tourism of RUDN University visited the Moscow five-star hotel of the international chain The Ritz-Carlton. Gloria Oblitas Mendes, RUDN University graduate, held the meeting.

November 14-15, the XVI All-Russian Olympiad for Students of Russian as a Foreign Language (RFL) "We studied before - we are studying now" was held at RUDN University bringing together more than 80 university representatives from 12 cities of Russia. Students represented 29 countries, the expert jury determining 2 foreigners who know the Russian language and culture best of all. Topics covered natural science / technical and general humanitarian profiles.
Plastic surgery as a scientific field is developing rapidly, this topic discussed at the roundtable “Human Science: How Plastic Surgery Will Change in the Near Future” at the Russia Today International News Agency. Experts from France told RUDN students that the effect of electromagnetic radiation on human organism from such "safe" devices as mobile phones or solar panels can be amplified many times depending on geological conditions and environmental conditions.
RUDN University mathematician proposed a method for calculating the optimal trajectory of spacecraft with electric propulsion, whose thrust is thousands times less than chemical one has, but it is able to work for years. These motors are best suited for interplanetary missions. Mathematicians calculated the flight parameters of the space probe with such motor to Mars and Mercury. The paper is published in the journal Cosmic Research.
