Annotation. The report presents a one-dimensional model of hemodynamics in large vessels and a lumped model of the heart. The main physical and physiological principles of construction these models are discussed. A review and comparison of existing modern approaches is performed. Applied problems related to the analysis of blood flow in the human body before and after vascular operations to remove stenoses are considered.
