On the 1st of September, on Knowledge Day RUDN held the initiation ceremony. Future lawyers, medical doctors, agrarians, ecologists, philologists, mathematicians and engineers are making their first steps to their future career and their professional dream.

26 June, professor Thais Russomano visited RUDN Mission Control Center. She is first woman-doctor in Latin America, advisor of Mars-1 project, expert in space medicine, founder and director of InnovaSpace – international agency consulting governments and national space agencies in the field of space research, space biology and medicine.
The selection of candidates for the nomination “RUDN Graduate 100,000” was done in 2 stages – dozens of candidates were suggested by faculties and institutes and 9 were finally chosen.
8 June, 2017, QS Quacquarelli Symonds published the 14th issue of the QS World University Rankings.
RUDN entered Times Higher Education (THE) Top-100 in “Student-to-staff ratio”. The list of best world-class universities has been published on the THE official web-site, where RUDN University is #96.

The Congress «The influence of migratory processes on the Russian language worldwide distribution», which will take place in Paris on June 7-9, 2017, is devoted to discussion of migration processes administration in Russia and European Union.
13 June, a webinar meeting of the International Expert Board takes place in RUDN Academic Council hall. On the agenda – international accreditation of university educational programs (2017-2018), international and Russian academic staff mobility and reviewing CVs of candidates for the positions of heads of RUDN structural units.
