February 20, at the meeting of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Education (RAE), the rector of the RUDN University, academician of the RAE Vladimir Filippov was presented with the highest award - the Medal of Distinguished Service of the Russian Academy of Education.

The first general meeting of the International Club of Employers (MKR) brought together representatives of business, higher education and young professionals. More than 2,000 employers from 28 countries supported the idea of the club. On the agenda: monitoring the labor market, the employment of foreign graduates and expanding the list of employers.

Margarita Mordovina, a student of RUDN Agrarian-Technological Institute, shared her ideas on solving current problems of swine APP with Miratorg experts and won the company's career contest. The winner got an iPhone as an award, and was offered to undergo an internship in any division of the company.

The delegation of RUDN University visited the Republic of Ecuador to establish partnerships with employers. In a number of working meetings with Ecuadorian companies, university representatives discussed the organization of practices, internships and employment of Ecuadorian students and graduates.

The students of the Faculty of Science attended a master class on employment "Ingredients for a successful career." A representative of the Foundation for Future Leaders, HR director Natalya Sorokina, told how to make a good CV and easily answer the interview questions.

November 28, for the first time in Russia, the Association “International Club of Employers”, which brings together representatives of business, higher education and young professionals, was created. The concept of the club was supported by more than 2,000 employers in 28 countries.

November 27-28, 2018, RUDN University became the site for the “Territory of the Future” as part of the Career Days. The event brought together students and alumni of RUDN University and employers. Participants of the meeting could talk with companies about internships, vacancies and employment conditions, as well as fill out questionnaires for further cooperation.

On November 19, a workshop on the topic “Candidates: Helicopter view” from Kelly Services was held at RUDN University. The speaker was Anastasia Khiteva, senior consultant for staff recruitment at Kelly Services.

November 8, 2018, an interesting master class by the PR-Agency “Ideas & Solutions” on SMM took place. The organizers are the Department of Student Practices and Employment and the Faculty of Philology of the RUDN University.

As part of the agreement, the company's specialists will take part in student career guidance events. The document provides organization and conduct of training seminars and master classes, the participants will be able to get a closer look at the activities of the company, as well as complete the internship with the prospect of permanent employment.

October 24, 2018, EF Education First career event was held at RUDN University. The theme of the master class: "Experience in Russia and abroad: features and capabilities." Speaker: Conan Smeeth is a private English teacher, born in the USA, Virginia. He has extensive experience in American universities and Russian private schools.

October 23, 2018, at RUDN University, BRUNEL held seminars for senior students at the Engineering Academy on the topic: “Labor market for oil and gas industry professionals”.
